Code of Business Ethics and Conduct for Suppliers
As Aselsan Konya, our expectation from all our suppliers is; It is to adopt the business ethics and rules of conduct contained in this text, apply them in working environments and share them with all employees to ensure that their employees pay the necessary attention to these rules.
1. LEGAL PRACTICES
Suppliers act in accordance with the provisions of the signed contract along with all applicable legislation in their commercial activities.
Competition Law
Suppliers do not engage in anti-competitive business or transactions. They do business in full compliance with the legislative provisions governing their fields of activity.
Bribery and Corruption
Suppliers do not give or offer bribes, payments or anything of value to institutions, organizations or real persons, or accept anything given for this purpose from institutions, organizations or individuals. Suppliers do not tolerate bribery and corruption in any way and act consistently and sensitively on these issues.
2. WORKING CONDITIONS
Discrimination
Suppliers; In all employment-related decisions such as recruitment, promotion, compensation, fringe benefits, training, compulsory dismissal, termination of employment; They cannot discriminate based on language, race, colour, gender, disability, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion and sect and similar reasons.
Compensation and Remuneration
The wages, overtime or all wage-related rights paid by suppliers to their employees must be equal to or greater than the amounts determined in accordance with the applicable Labor Law and other relevant legislation.
Forced Labor
Suppliers use only voluntary labor and employ personnel who wish to work of their own free will. It does not impose any threat or force on its staff, make false claims or use any other form of pressure to force them to work.
Child and Youth Labor
Suppliers should not employ people who have not completed their compulsory education and are under the age of 15, unless a higher age limit is specified in the legislation. However, suppliers cannot employ children and young workers under the age of eighteen in industrial jobs at night.
Working Hours
Suppliers act in accordance with the applicable legislation on matters related to working order, especially working hours and overtime.
Basic Human Rights
Suppliers respect the dignity, privacy, freedom of expression and rights of each individual.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
Suppliers recognize the rights of their employees to organize and collectively bargain in accordance with the law, and cannot discriminate or pressure their employees due to their participation in such legal organizations or unions.
Preventing Hazing
Suppliers do not allow the immunities of employees to be violated in any way through physical, sexual, psychological or emotional harassment in the workplace or anywhere they are for business purposes, and do not tolerate such incidents or behaviors contrary to law and ethical rules in any way. Suppliers do not ignore harassment of employees, do not take actions and practices that protect, encourage or facilitate those who do this, and take measures to prevent psychological harassment from occurring.

Confidentiality and Protection of Trade Secrets
It keeps the documents, commercial or technical information received from Aselsan Konya by the suppliers on a confidential basis.
Suppliers consider all confidential documents, designs, projects, information and information about Aselsankonya as company secrets and do not disclose or make them available to third parties in any form or manner, unless otherwise stated in the contracts.
Suppliers keep confidential all information, methods or ideas, applications, inventions, designs, products or similar that are not yet known in the field of industry that provide competitive advantage, and do not share them with third parties without the written approval of Aselsankonya and unless permitted by contracts.
Conflict of Interest
Suppliers avoid actions that create incompatibility with Aselsan Konya, unfair competition or conflict of interest, and do not use Aselsan Konya's assets such as information, documents and all kinds of infrastructure support for their own benefit in order to gain benefit.
Business Records
Suppliers create, record and store all business-related information accurately and in full compliance with applicable legislation. They are honest and forthright in meetings with representatives of regulatory bodies or organizations and official authorities. In addition, they never commit fraud or non-compliance with the documents (quality, training, production, etc.) needed for the continuity of the company.
Relations with Third Parties
Suppliers evaluate and select the organizations, dealers, business partners, suppliers and representatives with whom they will make agreements, in a way that will provide the best service to their customers, by prioritizing the interests of Aselsan Konya, and using methods in line with the principles of transparency, impartiality and equality.
Receiving and Giving Gifts
Except for materials of commercial custom and promotional nature and gifts such as pens, calendars and agendas that do not exceed the value of one-fourth of the minimum wage, gifts and assets that may give rise to the impression of an irregularity, cause a dependency relationship or be perceived as such, are not sent or accepted by the supplier.
Escrow Assets
Suppliers can use molds, hand tools, equipment, sub-materials, etc. entrusted to them by Aselsankonya for production or testing purposes in line with the needs. They protect such assets and take the necessary precautions to ensure that they are not used for their personal purposes or the personal interests of third parties other than Aselsankonya services.
Material Usage
Suppliers never use fake/copy materials, faulty/defective materials and chemicals with expired shelf life. All additional costs, losses or penalties arising from the use of these materials will be compensated by the relevant suppliers.
Social Media Usage
Suppliers do not publish messages on social media that are offensive, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, humiliating, false or threatening to any person or group of race, ethnic or national origin, gender or sexual identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability or any legally protected status.
Supply Chain
Suppliers comply with the principle of non-discrimination in the selection of suppliers with whom they will work and in the attitude shown towards suppliers, and make reasonable efforts to ensure that their own suppliers comply with all these Code of Ethics.
4. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Suppliers; They comply with the legal regulations in the field of Occupational Health and Safety and comply with the responsibility for the occupational health and safety of their employees and visitors. By implementing an effective occupational health and safety management system, they create safe and healthy working environments, control the dangers that their employees and visitors may be exposed to, and take the best possible precautions against accidents and workplace-related diseases. By providing training opportunities to their employees, they ensure that they are trained on occupational health and safety measures and that they implement the determined measures.
5. ENVIRONMENT
Suppliers are aware of their social responsibility to protect the environment and actively establish or use an environmental management system in accordance with international standards. They regularly follow environmental legislation and comply with it. They ensure continuous improvement in order to minimize environmental pollution and protect the environment and spread this awareness to all their employees.
BUSINESS ETHICS PRACTICE PRINCIPLES
Aselsan Konya may inspect its suppliers' compliance with business ethics rules or appoint a third party to carry out this control. aselsankonya reserves the right to immediately terminate its relationship with its supplier without compensation in case of a violation of all these rules.
Aselsan Konya may request the suspension of any employee of its supplier who acts contrary to the Supplier Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and the law or in conflict with these rules, or may cease all cooperation with the relevant supplier.
