Remote Controlled Stabilized Gun System
SMASH 200/25 System is a system developed to be used against close and asymmetric threats on warships, coast guard boats, landing ships and other ships in order to contribute to increasing the defense capabilities of modern armies. It is in the upper group of the Stabilized Machine Gun Platform (SMASH 200/12.7) System in the Stabilized Weapon Systems family.
It performs automatic recognition and tracking of targets that cannot be seen at night and in adverse visibility conditions. It is an ergonomic system that provides the ability to shoot accurately against stationary and moving targets while moving, using the 25mm KBA gun with advanced ballistic calculation features. It is a unique system that has proven itself by allowing the gunner to use the gun effectively and safely without being exposed to adverse weather conditions and counter fire, thanks to its remote control feature via the Weapon Control Unit. The system can also be equipped with different sensors to produce tailor-made solutions for customer needs.
